The platform
Agents do the work.
Apps hold it.
The Gateway keeps it under control.
Three parts of one workspace, built for finance and operations teams on NetSuite. Use one, or all three together.
ErstanAgents
AI workers for the desks that run on NetSuite.
Start from a role agent in the Solution Library or build your own. Either way, an agent is something you can open and read: a trigger, steps, instructions, skills and tools.
How agents work- Three shapesAn Assistant for chat-first help, a Workforce that routes work across agents and people, or an Automation that runs a fixed process the same way every time.
- TriggersStart from chat, a form, a schedule, a webhook, an email, or by hand.
- SkillsReusable instructions and files an agent loads to do a task the same expert way every time.
- Visual builderDesign an agent on a canvas, wire the steps together, or describe it to the AI builder assistant.
- VersionsEdit a draft while the published version keeps running, and review library updates before applying them.
- Where people workAgents answer in chat, on the task list and in Slack, including a Slack app of their own.
ErstanApps
The dashboards, queues and records your agents work in.
An App is an interactive workspace for one job: a collections desk, a supplier dashboard, a quote builder. It combines custom screens with connected data, actions, and native Sheets and Databases that agents and people share.
How Apps work- Ready-made AppsInstall an App from the Solution Library, such as the AP Command Center, the Procurement & AP Dashboard or the Quote Workspace, or describe your own.
- Data SourcesNamed, reusable reads over NetSuite, connectors, Sheets and Databases, previewed and published once and shared by Apps and Agents.
- DatabasesTyped records with saved views, history, import and export. Agents work with the same records, and a record change can start one.
- SheetsNative workbooks with formulas and version history that you or an agent can update, with Excel import and export.
- DocumentsA block editor that agents read and write alongside you, organised in your team’s content.
- Inside NetSuitePublish a page as a Suitelet or a dashboard Portlet, or embed an Erstan App, with access set by NetSuite role.
- Publish and shareRelease a reviewed draft, then grant Can use or Can edit. Sharing an App never shares its author’s credentials.
ErstanGateway
One control point for every model and every tool.
Every model call and tool call an agent makes passes the same checks: which models are allowed, which tools may write, whose NetSuite role applies and what it cost.
How security works- ModelsUse Erstan Managed access or your own provider key, choose which models are enabled, and set a default or let Auto pick within your limits.
- ConnectorsNetSuite, Slack, Gmail, Outlook, Google, Microsoft Teams, HubSpot and any MCP server.
- Write policiesEach tool is set to Allow, Require approval or Deny. Tools that can write start at Require approval, and Deny always wins.
- Per-user NetSuite accessEvery member authorises their own NetSuite user, so an agent never sees more than the person it works for.
- UsageCredit and token usage by person, team, agent and model, with CSV export.
- Audit logApprovals are written to a hash-chained ledger, alongside a step-by-step trace of every run.
- Outside agentsClaude and Codex connect through the Erstan MCP server with OAuth, and your systems through the Developer API. Access can be revoked and audited.
Built so finance can say yes
- Your NetSuite role, not oursAgents act through each person’s own NetSuite authorisation, and Erstan steers you to a non-Administrator role when you connect.
- One workspace, one environmentA workspace is bound to a single NetSuite account, either production or sandbox, so the two never mix.
- People and rolesOwner, Admin and Member roles decide who manages connections and write policies. Sign in through your company’s identity provider.
- Your dataErstan runs on Microsoft Azure. Your data is never used to train models.
